Thoughts & Beyond

We were invited last night to the birthday party of the mom of one of our god mother’s in our wedding since hubby has been quite close to them since. I said to myself okay so its another occasion and another time to remind myself not to destroy my diet which I often do. You just can’t resist the blessings right in front of you. I was actually having second thoughts on going since I was not feeling well and I was really tired and had a lot of pending things to do.

But we did not want to disappoint the one who invited us as we had known about the party months before. Plus our godmother texted us yesterday to remind us to go. So off we went and my it was a feast. The buffet was delicious and with the price per pax, it was worth it.

There was the ever tempting roasted pig just near the table and it was too much of a temptation to resist. I beg dad to give me a little of those crunchy pork skin while in my mind I was thinking of the safe appetite suppressant my friend was telling me I should probably need when I told her online that we were going out to another party last night. I read a friend’s tweet early morning last Thursday that there was an update in the rankings the night before and I am happy that this home of mine got one notch up so it’s now PR2 again! It got back its original PR and 5 or 6 sites got one notch up from zero. Others maintained their PRs. My own name site got a PR2 also one notch up from previous update. So that makes me a happy blogger for now! So they say that it may be a monthly update right coz I was expecting that they will update next month yet. An early nice surprise and they were generous to most bloggers this update! Thank you and thank you Lord!  Hoping for more blessings with these blessings!

I told hubby we need a replacement for our 2GB memory card since it a little defective already. If we can afford it we will have an upgrade too at the same time. Hope we can find an 8GB MMC card at a lower price. We have been scouting in the stores in the malls and even in different computer stores but they rarely have a stock of the 8GB. I suggested to hubby that we may buy from the memory suppliers online store he was looking at the other day.
