Thoughts & Beyond

We had brunch this morning since hubby and I got busy watching American Idol 2009 Season 8 two hour finale which was live at Star World. We waited until the end of the show before we had breakfast and so it became a brunch. Now it around four in the afternoon and still had no lunch. I am getting hungry and I need that late lunch now. Rain, rain go away… I could hear the kids playing outside singing that song as the rain threatens to pour down any time now. It is later in afternoon and supposedly it is still sunny and hot now during summer but it is dim now and if you look outside there are dark clouds covering all of the sky that I can see. We just stayed at home and have no plans to go out tonight except for hubby who is going to work in awhile for an twelve hour shift. I guess I might be singing the same song until hubby gets to the office in two hours.

I saw in the news yesterday that there was an motorcycle accident in the diversion road. The news anchor started the news by saying “slippery when wet” and that intrigued me. There is a part of the diversion road that is accident-prone and motorists and other drivers have been warned to be careful when they reached that part of that curved road. Wearing helmets is strictly implemented here and even wearing one does not totally spare motorists from accidents.
