I really would like to go back in finding time to go back to reading as a passion I once had. I love reading since I was young until a few years after college. But since I got married, I have not really done good reading as in finishing a book from cover to cover straight. Priorities have changed maybe. But now that the little boy is in school then maybe it will help if he sees me reading as it could help and encourage him more to read. We also need to do more reading together, as in loud reading for now.

I have slowly gone back to reading especially with the ebooks in my tablet. Having a good ebook reader was something in my mind before especially when the Kindle got popular and after hearing about the Kobo Wireless eReader. I wonder if the little boy would be more interested to read an eBook rather than the usual books. Kids are getting more and more techie these days. Whatever we will end up with, I just want the little boy to develop a love and passion for reading just like me when I was young. Hope he will start younger than me.

I hope his dad who does not read would also be able to help me by encouraging the little boy to read by being committed to do loud reading with the little boy every night as he was tasked by the school. It would be interesting that not only the little boy but hubby as well would develop a passion for reading books. It’s never too late.

I have been encouraging hubby to weigh things when it comes to the little boy’s education. It is not just about saving from the cost of tuition. There are times when my sisters and I would like have a meeting online especially that one of my sisters is now living overseas. I tried looking for those conferencing services for personal use and not for business. I once found this offer for unlimited online meeting that are great for online business conference from a source of global audio, web and video conferencing.

We have not tried the Facebook chat or other options that are free and available. Aside from we have a time difference with my sister overseas, my other two sisters are also working during the days that she is free. Anyway, there will be a time we could have this online meeting we’ve been thinking of.
