New Host for the New Year

Yes the thought of us getting a new host for the coming new year is something that I have to talk to hubby soon. One of our web hosts has been having problems recently after having their maintenance. Though this does not happen frequently but we thought it may be good to find a new web hosting service provider just in case we need to move to a new web host as a back up. A few other bloggers we know have been asking as well what web host other bloggers can recommend.

It was also suggested to check out those web hosting review sites that one can find online with free guide reviewing the best web hosting providers plus it is important to have an in-depth review that can at least make sure that the webmaster will get the best overall web hosting experience. Aside of course from personal recommendations from blogger friends who had tried and tested the various web hosts that one can find around these days. Well let us see what new web host for the new year that we can choose. It is nice to have a back up you know just in case these current hosts that we have will encounter downtime in the future.

Looking for a Cheap Hosting

When one of our web host had a problem a few days ago, it did remind me once again of a plan long before to find a new cheap web site hosting provided by a reliable web host for an option and alternative for hubby and me. He is busy at work and so today while I had a few minutes, I went online to ask a friend who also into blogging and she told me about this reviews of the top cheap yet reliable web hosting companies. I found two of them familiar while the res are new to me.

It is also good to ask from fellow bloggers and clients of these web hosting providers whom you may know for first hand experience from their respective web host. More cheap hosting are available these days compared to a few years ago because based on reviews the hard drive space, as well as the bandwidth and servers are a bit more affordable now. It is however important that the provider will have some kind of a money back guarantee if you happen to be unsatisfied with the hosting service they provide. So far so good with our host, we have not encountered problems that will require them to give back our money.

Fixed

Hubby forgot his promise to fix this home’s theme. Now I got to remind and convince him to fix and it seem fixed at this point. Better looking theme now than the one he left with no white background that a reader even me would find hard to read the posts. Well, I had to have a lot of patience since I am not good with tweaking with the theme editor until now.

I am just happy at least I could read the posts clearly now. I am sorry for those who still visit here and find it hard to read as I did too. I may have to find time next time to find a new theme and let go of this one. Or maybe not yet. Just glad the look is fixed now after “48 years”!

Tweaking

We are still tweaking to find a way to save this theme and fix the background. Please bear with the look of this blog of mine. It was long overdue for a makeover. Now I was just trying to let hubby change the background image at the side however when he removed the border it ended up looking like the white background of the blog was gone.

I tried changing to a new theme instead that I found recently but something was wrong with the theme itself too resulting to an error. Hope to find another theme soon! For now I will just have to stick to this old theme.

Working in Bed

I am working in bed. I am supposed to be sleeping right now but I don’t feel sleepy yet and it seems it has evaded me right now while the boys are soundly off to dreamland already. I dunno but I am just wide awake here now listening to my boys softly snoring beside me. I guess my mind is just awake after the movie we finished watching just about an hour ago.

I need to rest after finishing one more thing at work before I close my eyes and hope to fall asleep. Thanks to the GTab I can do some work while I am already in bed.

Good Health

If there is one thing that I would truly wish right now, it is but good health for me, my boys and my family as well as their respective families. With some friends’ kids and families getting sick during recently this holiday season, I cannot help but think that truly indeed health is one wealth on earth that we should be wishing for this Christmas and the whole year round.

The little boy though he is trying to be strong like one of those muscle builders that he sees on TV showing off their muscles and strong bodies, I know he is not quite feeling well inside. I am praying he is on his way to getting better and well soonest. I am praying too he will take his readily take his medicines so we can follow the schedule. I hope dad will also help follow the schedule of his medications. I wish we’d spend the holidays in good health and free from any sickness nto just for the holidays of course but for the rest of our lives.

Grateful to be Busy

For me and some of my friends, being busy online is something we are grateful for. It means we have so much work to do and we are so grateful to the Lord for the blessings of work opportunities that are given to us. I am happy to be busy and I am trying to squeeze in quality family bonidng time for hubby and the little boy despite being busy so as not to deprive them of time despite being really busy. Thank you lord for the work opportunities and for generous friends!

Crawling

There are times that when you are in a hurry and catching up with work when the internet decides to crawl and it can be kind of frustrating for me. I don’t like it when it acts up and starts crawling especially when you are beting deadline and trying not to waste those opportunities that come my way. Come to think of it, could it be my laptop which I can call old by now? I hope this is just for now for I still don’t have a budget to buy a new one. Unless of course hubby would get me a new one! Or it could just be the internet connection crawling and I don’t want to call their support anymore.

Beating Deadlines

I am happy for other people having this long weekend. But it is kind of busy for me though as I try beating deadlines here and there. I feel so blessed though despite being busy and it is indeed a blessing to be busy with work at home even if I feel I am running after something. No complains to speak of as I was able to squeeze in some bonding time with the boys yesterday with a lunch out at a new resto and then breakfast at McDo this morning to treat the little boy out. Now off to beat those deadlines once again. Let’s go!

Reach the Finish Line

It seems that I am in some kind of a race since yesterday and I just want to reach the finish line now. I wan to give myself a breather and rest for awhile. I also want us especially the little boy to sleep earlier tonight compared to last night. I am grateful for the work and the blessings of wonderful friends and opportunities. Now am off to run the last few lapses of this race if I may call it. I would love to run this race aka blogging marathon again soon as long as it means moolah for me to save and support the finances here in the house. Come on let’s run!
