A family friend’s son finally finished his college degree and graduated last October in a degree in Information Technology in one of the universities in the city. Our friend is also glad that she is finally finished with her concerns in her child’s education and sustaining their finances in order to pay off her youngest son’s tuition fee. Now the son is on a job hunt for Telecomm Specialist Jobs and other related jobs in the area of Information Technology.

I am happy that she is finished with this concern, while I on the other hand is still starting and has a long way to go. So I am praying real hard that the Lord will continue to provide us means to earn so that our son will be able to finish college without any hassle. I have faith that God will provide.

For the second day now, we have so far successfully implemented a “NO TV” policy for the little boy’s sake. It has been an encouragement from the Montessori school owners if possible let kids especially those in preschool live without TV. I have to agree because it is so hard to censor all those shown on TV that are not good for them to see. Even Disney channel has shows that are not good for young kids.

After even reading on an article regarding the effect of young kids watching Spongebob on their ability to do work given, has made me more convinced we should go on in implementing a “no TV policy” for the little boy. We don’t watch TV often for quite sometime now but I am somewhat affected because I could no longer watch the business nightly news show on TV. I cannot find videos of it unlike TV Patrol news where you can find it in the network’s website.

But in just two days, I could already see positive effects on the little boy. He was working more productively. Going through his old books and doing other more productive use of his time. He did not mind not having TV actually because he was told that the small and big TV are damaged by his dad who actually meant that there is no cable. He said “two guba TV” referring to the TV in the living room and in his room which was rarely used before until it was recently transferred to the living room while the big TV was sent off to my sis house for safekeeping for awhile.

The funny thing though now is that he also labeled hubby’s PC as “guba” by putting a post-it on them that has the word “guba” which means hubby should not be able ot use it as well? Hahaha! Kids are kids!

Some people these days have opted to pursue a career in beauty and cosmetology by going after and enrolling themselves in such accredited school of beauty or beauty institutes as they are called such as the Cosmetology school in the United States which continues to grow and is among the fastest growing beauty school in the US. This beauty school has continued to grow and made people’s dream come true when it comes to pursuing a career in beauty and cosmetology. Their students are given the time to share and provide high-quality, discounted salon services to the public under their expert faculty supervision which is considered part of their training too.

Time for loud reading again. While waiting for the pizza delivery this late at night, the boys are doing loud reading. The school owner during our first school-parent partnership meeting was encouraging the fathers to do the loud reading as a form of bonding at the same time with their kids. it is common and assumed that the moms usually do this at home. Given some dads also take this opportunity for bonding activity for granted, it might as well be mentioned that dads can in fact take turns with the mom in doing loud reading with their children.

Do this activity with your children and you might not know how much they appreciate what you do for them as you take extra time to read with them even after a tiring day from work.

Mothers during the past years have seen and are giving importance to early learning for their own child. Busy as parents may be with their respective work and other roles that we may have in our individual lives, we may not have enough time in our hands in terms of addressing the education our children. We rely on child care and early learning schools and centers that handle this very important thing of giving our child a place to learn through imagination, creativity and play at a young age.

There are innovative and progressive childcare providers these days like these Pre Schools Blanchardstown in Ireland for example who see the importance of early learning and education of our children. They give importance to that idea that a child young as they may be should have a strong foundation of learning that will benefit them for a lifetime. I am as a mother one with them in their goal of providing at an early age a positive learning, progress in education and development for every child who would be under their care. This is what a parent would look for especially those whose young children will be going to a pre-school for the first time.

No matter what and how much it may cost these days, I believe parents should not waste the opportunity and value of giving importance to early learning and education for their own children. Put them in a good place like the Giraffe Childcare & Early Learning Centres which can provide an environment that is safe and stimulating for your young child.

If given a chance now, I think it can be taken with pride for someone who would decide to go to a beauty school such as the Baltimore beauty school to learn the art and science of cosmetology. People now can get jobs as more and more salons continue to expand just like this beauty school or institute that continues to expand schools all over the United States which we may consider the fastest growing in this industry. Using a unique approach to cosmetology education, they will go a long way as a growing beauty school where there graduates are sought after.

It is the last day of summer class as well as soccer class – the little boy’s first and he is enjoying it so much! He has great potential and the interest in soccer the coach said from the first day of his soccer class. We still have not decided if we will enroll him for the second module of the summer class. But we want him to continue with the soccer class for sure.

I wonder how much they will let us pay since the soccer is already part of the whole summer class package. For sure this coming school year the little boy will be part of the soccer class. Last year he was already eager to join but the coach said his age is still too young. The coach said four years old is a good age to start learning soccer. This little boy is inspired by the Azkals and from watching Super Strikas in Disney. Plus hubby is also a soccer fanatic and follower of soccer news all over.

Okay time to send the little boy to his last day of summer class. Have a great summer day everyone!

The weekend starts now and it is just quite weird that I thought we are halfway through this weekend. Actually our “weekend” spent during the middle of this week. Next week will be a much more normal weekend for us.

We were at the mall so maybe I felt like we were doing our weekend bonding time for the little boy. But then he was at school yesterday and will be so for the next couple of weeks yet. Yes while other parents and kids are already in summer vacation mode, we still have a couple of school weeks to go. I was even thinking we should go to mass today but will have to psyche myself that we will do that tomorrow yet.

Happy weekend everyone and enjoy your Saturday!

Don’t worry too much about the future. Let it worry for you. I remember this words of advice by one of the bosses in the corporation I once used to work for more than a decade ago. This is something I am thinking now that must have made my forehead show some wrinkles that hubby told me when he came inside the house from the laundry area. I did not know I was doing that as I was thinking of something that I invested quite big financially. I must be needing some good wrinkle cream, that works effectively and safely most importantly, if I keep worrying about this short-term.Or maybe it would be hubby who’ll be needing that treatment when I keep on going in this new venture.

I should remind myself the money we invested in this is from an extra source and not immediate funds. So at least I need not worry too much. But the struggle to work and earn more continues for the sake of our little boy’s future. We still have to save up for his education. Plus more for our own second H&L that we are dreaming of having in the near future hopefully with God’s help. In this age there are a lot of things that we can worry on when we think of the future with the economy changes going uphill and so downhill at times which worries most of us I think.

He was proud to have made his first own hawaiian pizza during the second field trip this morning. He loves pizza and so does hubby and me. The boys and I love to eat. We are also certified pizza lovers and I just have to control my diet as I think about adapexin and all those diet supplements together with this love for pizza that we have.

It is also a nice experience for the little boy to make his own pizza hands-on at this age! Parents were asked to pay a hundred bucks for their pizza making camp package A which consists of solo hawaiian pizza, juice, plus a green apron and a certificate supposedly but I don’t know where it is. Well I hope we can one day do this kind of activity here at home as a bonding activity – our own pizza making activity right here at home!
