A long time friend is finally tying the knot in six months. I got her text message that she will be making our lil boy as the ring bearer! Hubby and I are honored but at the same time a little concerned. Would the lil boy behave and cooperate? That remains to be a question for us now. I have yet to reply to my friends message. Just have been busy or should I say a little too busy these days.
Anyway, as I think about this upcoming wedding of my dear friend, I have been looking into these free samples of wedding invitations that she might be interested in looking into. I think she may even get a great idea on what she wants her invitations to look like. I still have to tell her about this and hopefully we will be able to catch each other online at the same time. I wonder though if I can also get these free sample invites just for collection and souvenir. Well I can only wish for that now. I have to go now and talk to the lil boy and see if he would like the idea of becoming the ring bearer.

Today happens to be Maundy Thursday and it also happens to be April Fool’s Day being the first day onf the month of April. Good thing no pranks or jokes encountered today as the people I know also behaved for today is Maundy Thursday or Holy Thursday which is a good thing. No fooling around today folks. Behave I say and am glad everyone seems to be behaved except for that shared post update I read at FB of a brother taking a revenge on her sister for his bring grounded for six months. What he did in revenge is not something you would do to your very own sister. Anyway, I won’t go into details coz it is truly nasty. It was more than an april fool’s prank or joke!
We just got home tonight from dinner out with the boys and did some grocery for the lil boy’s neccesities, just in time for the start of EARTH HOUR 2010 here in our place. The neighbor next door had already turned off their lights but she said earlier that they’d still be watching TV. The other neighbors have turned off some of their not so essential lights. When I took a peek around past 9PM, it was darker outside. The lil boy in the house didn’t want the lights out at first but he started to behave and allowed us to turn off the lights when we allowed him to watch TV. Sort of no choice. I have started doing my share of Earth Hour by unplugging appliances not in use. Turning off hubby’s speaker for his PC, turning off lights outside since the light from the streetlight near us would suffice. We somehow constantly observe our own Earth Hours here in the city since February with our daily rotating brownout for two hours.
I love weddings as almost everyone I know does too! Seeing the photos of one of my classmates of her wedding souvenirs, giveaways and her personalized and unique invites made me remember these delightfully looking and colorful
