This photo we quickly snapped of ourselves as we were rushing to the little boy’s school to fetch him as we were actually running late, made us looking tall. At least at this snapshot, we looked tall created by our shadows going to the later part of the afternoon one week day.

Hubby and I know we are both not tall and so we could only hope somewhere in our genes the little boy would have that quality of being tall and taller than we are when he grows up. Being a boy it would be a plus if he will be taller than we expect him to be when he grows up.

I got reminded once again when we once again met one of the friends of one of principal sponsors in our wedding. We were at the church when we saw them pass by during the Communion where we were seated. We had a short chat after the mass on our way home. I was told that we must make it a priority to get insured especially that a new year is about to start. Yes I did get to think about it myself just a few days ago when I was reading about this Wholesale Insurance online while I was waiting for the time to go back to school and fetch the little guy.

Hubby and I have to talk more on our budget for next year and plans for the little guy’s schooling if we would really transfer him to a big school or not. I may have to list down the things we need to discuss that is if he does find time to discuss them with me before the year ends since it will really be busy during the next two weeks. I have to list this down now before I forget again that we need to get insured.

Christmas and the new year seem to be coming up so fast! I still want to enjoy the holidays and the Christmas break from school of our little boy. With hubby’s special day coming up so soon, I wanted to cherish the coming days with a weekend off making it a long weekend for me and the boys. I am just thankful that hubby has the regular weekends as off from work this busy and merry month of December. I want to enjoy each day of this merry month with my boys and my family. If we can only wish that each month is like the merry month of December but that might just be too much. If I may say it can be financially draining too!

Well all I know now is that Christmas is coming up so fast and I just want to enjoy it as much as we can!

It is in every mother’s thought of praying for financial blessings in order to sustain the finances and needs of her family among other things that we continue to pray for. I am also working to save for our lil boy’s education and other needs. I am not just a stay at home mom as what other people think I just am.It is not an easy job I tell you though it could be very rewarding at the same time.

I remain faithful that the Lord does provide hubby and me as long as we continue to work hard and find means to earn in order to save for the future and spend for our present needs. We pray for those who destroy our means of earning. May they know what they have done and may it not happen to them. I don’t want to mind them anymore. I will just continue to pray for financial blessings more so in the more blessed year to come in 2012.

A blessed Christmas everyone and may God bless us all!

I am just thankful for feeling better today. I felt better yesterday while I was in church with the boys. Not feeling well but that did not stop me because I had this feeling before that if I missed mass with the excuse of being sick, I’d feel more sick. I am thankful for making it to the mass yesterday. Even if the boys do not concentrate much on the mass, I am thankful for their presence and effort to join me yesterday. I even hope that dear hubby was able to understand the priest’s homily. He could have learned much from it on doing things that we can do only if we believe we can do it. But if he didn’t which I think he didn’t really, oh well at least they were there in the mass and am thankful for that.

I would have given flowers for my mom on her recent birthday but when I hinted her about my plan, she told me as much as she would really love the idea, she may want something else. I really love the flowers I saw a few days before her birthday when I went online window shopping. I wish I had those Proflowers coupons then or had known about it so that I could have gotten her a bouquet of flowers which I am sure she will be happily surprised to get then.

No matter how much she may want something else, I know mom would love the flowers especially if I had told her it came from our daddy. It would be a fun scene to witness because I don’t know how she would actually react and thank dad for it.

My dear mommy’s birthday is coming up and I wanted to give her something more personalized this time. I know she would prefer as always cash gift so she can do what she wants with it. She is not really materialistic but knows how to appreciate the gifts we give her. Yet again she prefers cash gifts that is.

As I have said, I plan to give her something like those like a Personal Creations birthday gift this year. I do not have much time in my hands to go around and choose her a gift. It would be totally convenient if I can do the shopping online. I still got about less than a month to get a gift for her. I know she would appreciate and like the personalized mugs that I saw at the online store I was browsing awhile ago. She likes to drink hot tea in any given time of the day when she feels like it. So the personalized mug would be a practical gift at the same time. I know the one she has been using has a little crack now so it is but high time she gets a new one for her birthday coming up in a few weeks time.

What a relief it is to hear today from the doctor (or at least my son’s pedia) that my lungs are clear after taking all the meds and antibiotic previously prescribed by my doctor who happens to be his wife. I know I feel better now after taking the Z antiB meds after a bout of cough that my son and I had almost at the same time. I could somehow sleep better now after a rather restless night last night. An episode of shortness of breath last night forced me to retire even if I wanted to do more work.

At least now less concern over my health and I could just pray that the little boy’s allergies or what it seems that exhibits through this rather cough that still persist even if he is through with his antibiotics. Praying for his full and complete recovery. I really pray this is no asthma that he has. I know God is always good and he will grant my fervent prayer.

Tweeting from the delivery room is one father’s way of showing how excited and high tech giving birth is right now. Someone I just followed over at Twitter was tweeting as his wife was starting to push as she was about to give birth to their second daughter earlier tonight. You could almost imagine what’s going on in there through his tweets.

Giving birth maybe the most painful experience but it is also the most rewarding and most joyful moment in the life of any mother. Plus there are so many ways to celebrate it. Not just tweeting (Twitter was not yet that popular when I gave birth to our precious little boy) but giving the mom a gift as one way of celebrating your newborn. My baby then now a little boy was my precious gift. He is one of the best blessings that hubby and I have ever received. I bet hubby would be happy and excited to tweet that if ever Twitter was then as popular as it is now.

I took some time which is actually a break from our learning and writing session with the lil boy tonight. Well I went to the room to sort our drawer and found my long lost necklace. It was a gift from my sister when she came home for a vacation with her family a few years ago. I have been looking for this necklace for quite a long time and I am just happy to have found it.

I am actually planning to pass it on and give it to my mom now since I don’t get to wear it as much and I know my mom likes to wear this kind of stuff more than I do so it would be just practical for me to give it to her so she could use it more. I just need a necklace extender though because my mom does not want a necklace that is like a choker already. I’ll just have to extend the necklace longer and she will love it, I just know! Glad I found this necklace because I know too that my sister will be looking for it and wonder I am not wearing it. She will be happy anyway when I give it to our mom.
