Get Insured

I got reminded once again when we once again met one of the friends of one of principal sponsors in our wedding. We were at the church when we saw them pass by during the Communion where we were seated. We had a short chat after the mass on our way home. I was told that we must make it a priority to get insured especially that a new year is about to start. Yes I did get to think about it myself just a few days ago when I was reading about this Wholesale Insurance online while I was waiting for the time to go back to school and fetch the little guy.

Hubby and I have to talk more on our budget for next year and plans for the little guy’s schooling if we would really transfer him to a big school or not. I may have to list down the things we need to discuss that is if he does find time to discuss them with me before the year ends since it will really be busy during the next two weeks. I have to list this down now before I forget again that we need to get insured.

Praying for Financial Blessings

It is in every mother’s thought of praying for financial blessings in order to sustain the finances and needs of her family among other things that we continue to pray for. I am also working to save for our lil boy’s education and other needs. I am not just a stay at home mom as what other people think I just am.It is not an easy job I tell you though it could be very rewarding at the same time.

I remain faithful that the Lord does provide hubby and me as long as we continue to work hard and find means to earn in order to save for the future and spend for our present needs. We pray for those who destroy our means of earning. May they know what they have done and may it not happen to them. I don’t want to mind them anymore. I will just continue to pray for financial blessings more so in the more blessed year to come in 2012.

Finished

A family friend’s son finally finished his college degree and graduated last October in a degree in Information Technology in one of the universities in the city. Our friend is also glad that she is finally finished with her concerns in her child’s education and sustaining their finances in order to pay off her youngest son’s tuition fee. Now the son is on a job hunt for Telecomm Specialist Jobs and other related jobs in the area of Information Technology.

I am happy that she is finished with this concern, while I on the other hand is still starting and has a long way to go. So I am praying real hard that the Lord will continue to provide us means to earn so that our son will be able to finish college without any hassle. I have faith that God will provide.

Global Economic Decline: Prepare and Take Advantage

Hubby and I have been watching the news and if you have listened or read the business news not just in the country but worldwide, you may have known that the economic market is suffering with the US debt crisis followed by that in Europe to which the US is not taking that well too plus the US credit rating downgrade by S&P. The Asian markets are suffering as well. The Philippines isn’t spared. The market index record high by PSE was lost in just two days time. Imagine! I don’t totally understand this well but we are seeing the effects.

But if we have been in this situation before, experts like Mobius say during his recent visit that the global economic decline is not really something we should fear for, in fact, we should prepare and take advantage of it. In the stock market as mentioned in the news, share proces are down. The index is down by 200 points after our index has been noted to have record highs. In the mareket today alone of the 197 stocks traded, 173 are down. Meaning they are in the red, at a great loss. There is a blood bath in the stock market with almost all stocks in red or at a big loss.

Take advantage of it, it is time to buy. Common thought is that it can be time to go for a shopping spree! They say what goes down, will go up. But when is that time that they will recover, only time will tell. But you can still play in the market with some stocks if you look at the news. Only we don’t have the money to do so. These things become theoretical only. But for those actively investing, this may be a good time to buy while others are letting go out of fear over the economic crisis. Only we don’t know until when this crisis will be over. That’s the big risk! So the common thought, people should have been prepared and at the same time, take advantage of it.

Profitable

People these days try to augment their regular income or salary through other profitable means. There is one venture I wish to know more. I have heard many people have been so profitable and successful in that venture. It is also a very risky venture too. Just like any business, we put in capital and it all depends on how we go about the business and learn the ropes in order to make the most of opportunities there in this kind of venture and make it profitable to our financial advantage of course.

May your dreams come true is often the closing statement of someone who has been an influence on us in striving to do something for a financially profitable present and future that hopefully will benefit well our little boy’s future. Being wealthy isn’t necessarily our goal but we aim to provide well in terms of finances for our family and for the future. Wishing and Hoping

Wishing and hoping right now that there would be an available really low promo fare for the route or destination that we wanted to go soon, but not that soon though. We missed the promo because hubby cannot decide then until the promo was gone and now we are looking into the airfare almost twice that promo we missed.

I am not yet to give up the free hotel accommodation we won at their summer outing. It is an opportunity to stay at that hotel we wanted to try staying in for quite a long time now out of town. An option though would be to sell it maybe. Someone was already interested in buying it. But I am still wishing and hoping we could still get to use that free hotel accommodation ourselves. Any sponsor out there?

Have you ever thought how so easy it is to spend money rather than earn that money that you spend? Well, there are certain times that I get to think about that and that it makes me pray I could make more and earn more. I guess I am not that lucky to win any big pot of money though I still keep to myself that naything is possible in this world. Yet even if you may have so much money, it would still be so easy to spend it.

We can make the most of the internet these days to make life easier like getting quotes for anything from houses to cars to things we shop and even for those who would like to canvass for a good insurance. It is better and easier these days to compare life insurance quotes online with so much information that you can get online from so many sources out there.

My mom always tell me to make sure I would prioritize getting us insured and to renew my health insurance. I have not done the latter. I wish to do it soon.

Thankful

I just want to share that I am simply thankful that our water and electric bills due to be paid this month have gone down saving us some money from our budget. Hubby and I were surprised because after two or three months of paying both bills that were quite high and going higher, now they are down.

We don’t know why they have gone down but we are simply thankful we could save a little from the budget for both of these utilities. we can only hope it won’t go any highter anymore. Thank you Lord!
