Since we will miss shooting at the Kadayawan Festival’s Indak Indak sa Kadalanan this year, hubby and I decided to have breakfast bonding time with the little boy at our fave Filipino buffet resto where we used to eat before frequently. The past few months though we decided to stop going there since I wanted to control my diet plus our expenses too! But I say eating there can be more filling and so much choices compared to when we have breakfast before at McDonalds which could cost more actually with just the meal of choice ~ chicken or whatever.

The little boy was happy and we were surprised he was really hungry. He ate four servings of pancake! Plus he drank both of our breakfast juice as they call it by himself mostly. He did not like their fresh mango juice this time. The mango fruit they used was not that ripe yet and so it tasted sour. Had we known we would just have ordered the breakfast juice for him as well and that would have saved us half the price of the mango juice. LOL!

The little boy was game when we took pictures of him as he was eating his pancake. I might not be able to upload the pix just yet. As of this writing I am sleepy and catching up to finish pending tasks since hubby and I had our own Kadayawan bonding date last night from Alladin Bajada to Central Bank for the Mindanao Trade Expo 2010 to NCCC to Gardena Fresca for dinner (our first time in that place) to Brothers Burger in Damosa where we were able to see and hear the concert from the back with a view of the backstage. Thanks to the big screen, we were able to see glimpses of the artists and celebrities who performed last night.

Just as some people go to comedy bars for a dose of laughter, last night was a night of laughter indeed for us old friends and classmates. I cannot remember some of the stories they were telling during the reunion and I am not alone. But nevertheless those stories made us laugh the whole night long in between some quite more serious stuff that we have to put in. But I cannot disagree it was a fun night and I would love to have that kind of night of laughter even not every day but even just once a week gathering of friends and classmates. I don’t know how that would work but I know when it is something fun, they might just find time to meet up even once in awhile for a night of laughter.

I was reading a celebrity who is on vacation with her family now somewhere and she tweeted about her son having fun with atv riding. The lil boy likes riding his small red motor inside the house right now which he has not used for quite sometime already. I wonder if he would love to pursue riding in an atv one day soon. He truly loves riding and he even used to ride a 4×4 car inside a mall which used to rent out that kind of ride to kids there. It reminds me when I read on an ATV magazine online. We have not gone back there but the lil boy would surely love to ride that again. There is just no special terrain inside there but am not sure I’d feel at peace if there was.

We watched a local travel show before and they featured going on a trip to an island just across the city here and there is a resort there that rents out atv rides to tourists and resort guests. I wanted to visit that place then but am not sure if I am up to riding an ATV. But my bro and hubby would like to try just as excited as my lil boy who used to say to me “Let’s ride!”

I survived without opening my Facebook or any of the games for a day today. That was one of my little sacrifice which I know would not be enough but it is one of the least I can do for today being Good Friday. So I busied myself with house chores and doing my pending tasks instead which is far more productive rather than tempt myself in things I decide to skip doing for today. Hubby wants to open his FB too and play poker and I reminded him to abstain today, wait until past midnight or better play tomorrow. Good thing he is sleeping right now in the sofa. He might play it tomorrow after all.

I try to spend more time these days thinking these times won’t be here for long. But since I have not much time to exercise and probably because I am growing more “mature” physically, I can’t be as agile and active as he is. There are some joint pains in my knees and hips sometimes that is calling for that msm cream whose reviews I have come across yesterday as I was searching for something for my mom. This treatment is said to eliminate your joint pain and rebuild your joints. I hope so that they would really work without any of the hassle or complications. Maybe I could make use of this if and when pain strikes again. So that bonding time would be just all fun and no worries for any joint pain whatsoever.

Just finished with our hula dance bonding with the boys. The lil boy felt like letting his parents dance to hula since we had these leis from the birthday party we attended last Saturday at Woodridge. Even though I think it was not a good idea to dance hula just after having dinner, we gave in to the sick lil boy’s prompting so he’d have fun too. Hubby and I thought doing this might be one of the best fat burning exercise that we can do together here at home. We started sweating immediately and since we still not that well, we had to slow down for now. We can do this again when we are better already. This will be a good and fun exercise which is a family bonding at the same time.

The lil boy is still in his playful and happy mood even though he obviously feel weak from his fever that started yesterday late afternoon. He also sees the hula dance in one of the Barney videos he saw earlier and he saw them wearing leis too similar to the one we have here from that hawaiian-inspired birthday party. Hubby gave up first and we ended up laughing all three of us looking at the photos the lil boy took of us.

Just got home from bonding time with the boys since hubby is having his first of the two long weekends off from work before Christmas. First stop this afternoon was to issue next years checks for the housing loan we have. I met my college classmate Tin who works in that government office and we talked about the forthcoming college reunion after Christmas. Then I asked for some advice regarding our plans for H project #2. She gave us an idea and we will try to think about that and work that out next year. Then the boys and I went to Jack’s Ridge where along the way, the lil boy took his afternoon nap. It gave hubby and me time to have our quiet dinner and take food shots without the lil boy playing around making it not as easy as it should be at times. You know the lil boy recently learned to make ways to distract our shoot whatever. He would make it a point he’ll be either be part of all the shots or place something in the way to disturb the shoot. LOL!

After a great dinner at the new Karlo’s Gourmet and Coffee and in time that the lil boy woke up, we went to their Christmas tree and had a few snapshots taken with the lil boy. Then we left since it started to drizzle a little then we headed to NCCC Mall where we let the lil boy ride walking animals and also the train. Then we bought the lil boy’s fave fries and sat in the parked train while we ate it. We had a relaxing time and we enjoyed the time spent this evening just relaxing in the mall. The visit at Jack’s Ridge and seeing a view of the city from above there was refreshing and relaxing.

Will try to share photos next time when I have transferred them from the DSLR.

When the lights have been placed, all he wants is for it to be on all the time even during daytime. I don’t think I should be worried yet with the electric bill right. LOL! But has is since this afternoon been putting anything usually most of his toys into the tree and he’d be happy to see them there that he’ll clap his hands with a big smile on his face. He’ll keep up with this fun until he thinks of something else I guess. I am happy to see him happy as they say Christmas is for the children.

It’s like a recurrence of an addiction… not the addiction that is illegal but this addiction that waste precious time that could be used for far more productive time. Well to simply say, I seem to start to have a recurrence of my addiction to this FB game Farmtown which I used to be so addicted for months, months ago. I have let got of this game but recently they updated the game level and there is a manor that I would like to have… again! Oh no! I dunno though coz when I checked earlier, it would take a lot of time again and effort to reach the required level before I can buy the Manor. So I am almost saying – NO, I can’t go back anymore to being addicted to FarmTown again. I need to work harder on my tasks so I would be more productive with my time.
