The bed-weather type of weekend gave us time to stay more at home and gave me time to check out this so-called proven classic jazz bass that my sister was talking about the other day. I have been looking for a classic guitar for the little boy. That idea came before his recent birthday when I saw him fascinated with toy guitars in the store.

My search led me to these guitars sold online and I found this squier jazz bass with that famous offset waist, ultra-slim, fast-action neck, and full-range, bi-pole pickups which they said is just like the original. It was something which my cousin used to like so much and which he really wanted to buy for his birthday last year. I told my cousin that maybe he could find other classic bass guitar just like the one I have in mind then for the little guy. But I got him something else since I still could not find what I wanted. Hopefully soon

I think since the month of September stepped in, they had been playing songs heard throughout the whole mall. There were not too many people in the mall last night since it was a weekday. Plus some are still waiting for their pay today.

Last night as I was walking to fetch my son at the Wonderland, I thought that maybe the Christmas bonuses are being waited upon by most employees by now. Yeah too early yet but some companies do give it out early too. But giving it out too early means that it might not even get to reach the Christmas shopping season too.

Right now am bring those songs here at home. Playing Christmas songs early morning to the lil boy’s delight!

However, I found that mt eyes were drooping and almost fell asleep on my computer table as I continued to listen to Enya’s songs on my XpressMusic mobile phone on a bed weather day. I almost dozzzzzzzzed off literally.

I had to turn it off now so I won’t fall asleep or else the little boy will be stuck in school with no one to fetch him because the husband is asleep as well in the room until now. Got to wake him up now! Later!

Everyone and their dog seems to have a cellphone nowadays. It used to be many years ago that the type of clothing that you wore represented your personality. Now, I believe that fashion is out and a person’s ringtone can tell you a lot about them.

Ringtones can tell you what type of movies a person likes, musical preference or even what type of personality they have. So, one evening while I was thinking about the various amounts of ringtones I came up with a short little guide for what various ringtones say about a person.

Hip-Hop. Everyone has seen that person who pulls out their cellphone to some hip-hop, rap style song. I’ve even seen little 10 year old children pulling out cellphones to this style of ringtone. In many ways I believe that this type of ringtone says that a person wants to be perceived as tough but it just makes others look at them and try not to laugh.

Movie Themes. Nothing says movie geek like having a ringtone of your favorite movie theme. With this belief it is amazing that there are so many movie themes out there. In fact, there are even free ringtones that a person can get online that offer movie themes.

Standard Chimes or Default Ringtones. Maybe the person didn’t know how to change the ringtone or maybe they just like the way it sounds but it can be perceived to an outsider as something else. Default ringtones say “I don’t know much about technology” or “I got a phone that is too advanced for me.” Whatever the reason, if you know how to change a ringtone do so right away!

There are thousands of ringtones available for people all over the world. This is just a small look at what I believe a ringtone says about a person.

During my childhood days, there was something I wanted to do and learn but did not have the chance at all. It was to learn how to play piano. It might have been because the children of our neighbor who lives across us were learning piano then and I could hear them play often during those days. But I guess with all six of us siblings going to private schools then my mom would rather not let me have piano lessons coz that would be an additional expense to the budget my parents have allocated for our schooling.

But it is never late to learn how to play the piano. These days there are piano lessons offered online for free and you could avail of a piano course online now unlike before. Or if you know how, then you can always bring your piano playing to the next level and be a better pianist today. I came across the site of Yoke Wong, a native of Malaysia who started playing piano at the young age of seven, almost the same age that I started getting interested to learn piano but was not able to. Yoke is the founder of Harmony and Melody Studio, Inc, a leading piano educational publisher and she shares her talent by sharing what she knows online. She made it her mission to bring people closer to the Lord through music. I saw part of her video and I like the way she teaches. I would like my son to learn how to play the piano and I hope he would like it and learn to like it as it had been something I wanted for myself when I was still a child.

Even long before, I have sought out to music for relaxation and take my mind from things that worry me. Now I have gone back to that and enjoying the chance once again using my laptop and going online listening to music I search online and mostly from YouTube listening to the song without really watching the video shown in YouTube. I just choose the songs at random. I also asked hubby if by any chance ther is a risk that I would get a virus by listening to these YouTube music videos, he said not likely since it’s probably screened before hand.

The song of Amy Grant – My Grown Up Christmas List has been my all time favorite Christmas song and holiday song the video of which I posted here – My Grown Up Christmas List, just click on the link and enjoy watching this touching music video.

I also found two revivals of the same song by popular singers from the American Idol – Kelly Clarkson and the controversial Clay Aiken (who had a son then professed he is gay and happy!). Anyway here are their music videos I found in YouTube as well sharing them for you to watch when you need to feel the holiday season! I love best the Amy Grant’s version which you can watch through the link above.

Today I went back to my own therapy on handling stressful moments in life and what I do is listen to music sometimes I make it loud enough that it is the only thing I hear in the house muffling who ever is talking behind the closed bedroom door. But I make sure it is not that loud and the music is not heavy metal. Just some music that would calm me and make me forget whatever was bothering me in the first place. Isolating myself until such time that I feel calm enough. Sometimes time alone and away from people and being in your own corner is a good thing. Makes you think and lets my partner do the things he has never done that upsets me in the first place. Maybe it is also giving him space and time to think what he has not done in the first place. I dunno where I put my Enya songs here in my laptop. The search did not find it yet. Maybe I will just find a way to download them again and play it to soothe myself when “stress” strikes again. Maybe the physical stress and routine things I do makes me more stressed. I have not given in to some rest during the day in such a long time. There is always something to be done and maybe listening to music and making it a part of my daily life now would lessen the stress somehow and hopefully makes me stop thinking of the things that has not been done yet.
