I think I need to have my eyes checked so I could have better sight. It has been quite a long time since I could no longer see clearly words from afar unlike when I was much younger when I could read words written from afar especially those written small. A few weeks ago I was watching a news feature on Americans or other western nationals going to other countries for medical treatment such as having lasik surgery Mexico and other eye treatments sought usually are: myopia, astigmatism, farsightedness, presbyopia (eyestrain), cataracts (FACO), glaucoma, Canaloplasty, Refractive surgery, Corneal surgery, Vitreo-retinal surgery, Eye muscle surgery, and Oculoplastic surgery. Lasik prices in the US often ranges much higher compared to those in countries like Mexico where people opt to go to these days. Read more… »

This day started with a sad news of Former President Corazon “Cory” C. Aquino who died at 3:18AM today due to cardiac arrest and as we Filipinos know she has been fighting colon cancer since she was diagnosed since March 2008 (if I am not mistaken). I just finished watching the 9PM mass held live at La Salle Greenhills. For awhile, I felt I had a heavy heart listening to the music so much familiar and related to letting go. Even the theme song for EDSA 1 stirred some sad sentiments inside as I listened to it after Jim Paredes tweeted a link to the song in YouTube. We lost the icon of democracy who has inspired a lot of us and also people around the world. I hope all of our country’s leader will respect the cause she has fought for even as Cory Aquino took her last breath. Thank you so much former President Cory Aquino for everything you have given the Filipinos!

Just what I need! Our sites are down earlier but thank goodness they are back up now. I made a post on President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo’s State of the Nation Address 2009 | PGMA’s SONA 2009 in my other blog then hubby said it is picking up traffic and just as he said that I cannot open this site and then our other sites. But am grateful they are back as I need to check on some things. Did you watch/listen to the SONA? Well…

I saw in the news yesterday that there was an motorcycle accident in the diversion road. The news anchor started the news by saying “slippery when wet” and that intrigued me. There is a part of the diversion road that is accident-prone and motorists and other drivers have been warned to be careful when they reached that part of that curved road. Wearing helmets is strictly implemented here and even wearing one does not totally spare motorists from accidents. So drive carefully and safely so you won’t need to look for a San Jose motorcycle accident attorney ever. This is one thing that makes me think more than twice when I think of the possibility of buying a motorcycle for hubby.
