Whenever I turn on the TV, watch and listen to the news every day, there is always something that is being reported related to car accidents just like in the local news earlier on where even two people unfortunately died after the motorcycle they were riding had a head on collision with an sports utility vehicle. The driver of the SUV was injured and brought to the hospital while the passengers were still at the scene of the accident. They seem to have been drinking unfortunately as bottles of liquor was found inside their car.

The relatives of the driver and passenger of the motorcycle can file a case against the driver of the SUV. Thinking about those denver car accident lawyers in cases like that. Your denver accident lawyer will take care of you and pay attention of your needs in case of personal injury. The expertise and dedication of a denver car accident lawyer makes them prepared to fight for you or anyone of your loved one who may have suffered a personal injury due to another person’s negligence, carelessness or wrongful acts. Having someone in the family or someone we know who becomes a victim of such is really worth helping to fight for their rights to claims and damages. Help them get the best trial lawyers who also give a lot of personal attention to their clients.

Earth Hour 2010

Earth Hour 2010We just got home tonight from dinner out with the boys and did some grocery for the lil boy’s neccesities, just in time for the start of EARTH HOUR 2010 here in our place. The neighbor next door had already turned off their lights but she said earlier that they’d still be watching TV. The other neighbors have turned off some of their not so essential lights. When I took a peek around past 9PM, it was darker outside. The lil boy in the house didn’t want the lights out at first but he started to behave and allowed us to turn off the lights when we allowed him to watch TV. Sort of no choice. I have started doing my share of Earth Hour by unplugging appliances not in use. Turning off hubby’s speaker for his PC, turning off lights outside since the light from the streetlight near us would suffice. We somehow constantly observe our own Earth Hours here in the city since February with our daily rotating brownout for two hours.

Better Sight

I think I need to have my eyes checked so I could have better sight. It has been quite a long time since I could no longer see clearly words from afar unlike when I was much younger when I could read words written from afar especially those written small. A few weeks ago I was watching a news feature on Americans or other western nationals going to other countries for medical treatment such as having lasik surgery Mexico and other eye treatments sought usually are: myopia, astigmatism, farsightedness, presbyopia (eyestrain), cataracts (FACO), glaucoma, Canaloplasty, Refractive surgery, Corneal surgery, Vitreo-retinal surgery, Eye muscle surgery, and Oculoplastic surgery. Lasik prices in the US often ranges much higher compared to those in countries like Mexico where people opt to go to these days. Read more… »

Heavy Heart

This day started with a sad news of Former President Corazon “Cory” C. Aquino who died at 3:18AM today due to cardiac arrest and as we Filipinos know she has been fighting colon cancer since she was diagnosed since March 2008 (if I am not mistaken). I just finished watching the 9PM mass held live at La Salle Greenhills. For awhile, I felt I had a heavy heart listening to the music so much familiar and related to letting go. Even the theme song for EDSA 1  stirred some sad sentiments inside as I listened to it after Jim Paredes tweeted a link to the song in YouTube. We lost the icon of democracy who has inspired a lot of us and also people around the world. I hope all of our country’s leader will respect the cause she has fought for even as Cory Aquino took her last breath. Thank you so much former President Cory Aquino for everything you have given the Filipinos!
