I wanna say happy birthday to my elder sister! I already greeted her when hubby called her this morning at her office. We were surprised that she reported for work when she usually takes a birthday leave during her birthday for the past years. Our youngest sister even told me when she was here the other day that we just have to text our birthday greetings but we were able to talk to my sis and she sounded happy to hear our greetings. Our CT was a bit shy and not in the mood to talk but just said “Happy Birthday”. We’ll celebrate birthdays thsi weekend. There are 3 to be celebrated actually. I wonder why there are many birthdays on June. Hmmmm….

We were invited last night to the birthday party of the mom of one of our god mother’s in our wedding since hubby has been quite close to them since. I said to myself okay so its another occasion and another time to remind myself not to destroy my diet which I often do. You just can’t resist the blessings right in front of you. I was actually having second thoughts on going since I was not feeling well and I was really tired and had a lot of pending things to do.

But we did not want to disappoint the one who invited us as we had known about the party months before. Plus our godmother texted us yesterday to remind us to go. So off we went and my it was a feast. The buffet was delicious and with the price per pax, it was worth it.

There was the ever tempting roasted pig just near the table and it was too much of a temptation to resist. I beg dad to give me a little of those crunchy pork skin while in my mind I was thinking of the safe appetite suppressant my friend was telling me I should probably need when I told her online that we were going out to another party last night. Time flies when you are having fun and busy tweeting. It is high time for my son’s bath time. I am just waiting for the water to boil which I will mix with the cold water. My son does not want to take a cold bath. He does not want to take a bath earlier coz he was busy watching Mr. Bean then hubby called and after that my son wanted to stay on the phone so I called my parents but they were out and so I just talked to my niece and my sister. My son likes to watch Mr. Bean and the episode we both like watching over and over again now is the Merry Christmas Mr. Bean. I like hearing Christmas songs even in the heat of the summer season here now. I love the Christmas season and the episode is great anyway.

My son’s favorite part of that episode is when Mr. Bean wakes up to the church bells on Christmas Day and he jumps out of the bed and kept of jumping up and down with the church bells still ringing. My son would know that part is coming and would prepare himself to jump up and down just like Mr. Bean laughing and enjoying it.

My Weekend Snapshot is taken at the Paradise Island Beach Resort in the Island Garden City of Samal across Davao City.  We spent there our first time at the beach with our two year old son who totally avoided taking a dip at the water. But he still had fun looking at me and hubby taking turns taking a dip in the water since one of us had to stay with him and watch him. Before we went home shortly after lunch time, we took a shot of him for a souvenir for his first time there and first time in the beach and it happened on my birthday. Hoping for a fun, fun summer!
