A couple of weeks ago, I have been thinking of buying some personalized mug gifts for my family and a few close friends as I come to browse of the personalized mugs particulalry these snowman candy cane mugs that I saw over at www.personalcreations.com.

I will keep this in mind the next time a friend might be celebrating their birthday and wants these personalized mugs to give as gifts to their guests. We wish to make the most of the coming few days leave that hubby was given from his work at this time of the month which is supposed to be a very busy month in their office. We wanted to travel but it is the peak holiday season and the cost of travel may be too much for the budget. Yet we are not closing our doors even to such an opportunity of one of those hawaii cruises if ever Santa would give that to us.

We might skip the usual stay at the known hotel here that we used to have during hubby’s special day. I’d wanted to travel but we might just save it up for some other time during the lean season of travel when there are promos in air fare and hotel at the same time. Truly excited for a friend who will finally tie the knot next week! It will also be the first time that our little boy will walk down the aisle as part of the wedding entourage as one of the bearers. Hubby and I have been thinking of what wedding gift to give them. I then asked myself, what would a bride want to receive from her friend. I guess every single bride has a preference of her own. I even tried searching for wedding gift ideas today while the little boy was still having his afternoon nap.

I ended up looking into these 1st anniversary gifts for which paper gifts like these paper roses will do. I also looked into those wedding anniversary gifts by year. Hubby and I don’t really give gifts to each other anymore for practicality reasons. Though we usually treat ourselves to a family trip and travel with the little boy when we can or treat ourselves to a buffet lunch or dinner. But I would love to get flowers from dear hubby even just like these paper roses for paper is for those married couples celebrating their first year wedding anniversary. With any gift from your dearest loved one, it is the thought that always count.
