This photo we quickly snapped of ourselves as we were rushing to the little boy’s school to fetch him as we were actually running late, made us looking tall. At least at this snapshot, we looked tall created by our shadows going to the later part of the afternoon one week day.

Hubby and I know we are both not tall and so we could only hope somewhere in our genes the little boy would have that quality of being tall and taller than we are when he grows up. Being a boy it would be a plus if he will be taller than we expect him to be when he grows up.

“Time you enjoy wasting, was not wasted.” ~John Lennon

I have to think about this when there are times that I would somehow think that I have not used my time productively. This saying saves me when I get to think, hey indeed if you enjoy something you do as a diversion or something that is not part of your task to be done yet you do it when you’re supposed to be doing something else more important, then I guess I have not wasted time… my time.

Would this include Facebook? I know I am not the only one who may think they are wasting time going through Facebook. But there are times when you get good things from browsing through Facebook when you should be doing your work. There are opportunities we get from browsing through Facebook then I can say my time did not totally go to waste.

Note to self… though shall not browse the OMF group page at Facebook after dinner or late at night otherwise your tummy will start ti churn and you will get hungry and start to drool over the food photos shared and posted by other bloggers. LOL! Yes I had just browsed through that Facebook page awhile ago supposedly just checking out what’s new and it was flooded with food photos from the recent noche buena.

What did I expect? Hahaha! Hence I am now so hungry and it is just three minutes away just in time for midnight snacks on the dot. Oh my am really hungry. So next time when you are trying to diet after Christmas day, I should remind myself not to open any food website or group page for foodies at FB or elsewhere. Eating and getting hungry at this hour is just to hard to resist. *Wink!*

I got reminded once again when we once again met one of the friends of one of principal sponsors in our wedding. We were at the church when we saw them pass by during the Communion where we were seated. We had a short chat after the mass on our way home. I was told that we must make it a priority to get insured especially that a new year is about to start. Yes I did get to think about it myself just a few days ago when I was reading about this Wholesale Insurance online while I was waiting for the time to go back to school and fetch the little guy.

Hubby and I have to talk more on our budget for next year and plans for the little guy’s schooling if we would really transfer him to a big school or not. I may have to list down the things we need to discuss that is if he does find time to discuss them with me before the year ends since it will really be busy during the next two weeks. I have to list this down now before I forget again that we need to get insured.

It is in every mother’s thought of praying for financial blessings in order to sustain the finances and needs of her family among other things that we continue to pray for. I am also working to save for our lil boy’s education and other needs. I am not just a stay at home mom as what other people think I just am.It is not an easy job I tell you though it could be very rewarding at the same time.

I remain faithful that the Lord does provide hubby and me as long as we continue to work hard and find means to earn in order to save for the future and spend for our present needs. We pray for those who destroy our means of earning. May they know what they have done and may it not happen to them. I don’t want to mind them anymore. I will just continue to pray for financial blessings more so in the more blessed year to come in 2012.

A blessed Christmas everyone and may God bless us all!

As a mom to a young kid, I sometimes need to remind myself that there are habits and lifestyle that we need to change like working late at nights and not following a really healthy diet. This usually springs out of my mind when I and my little kid gets sick. With thoughts on proper nutrition and exercise, I also stumbled and found this Bioidentical hormone therapy austin as I found some time and went online for a little research on those topics to start with. While I was reading on something about PMS and stress induced adrenal fatigue, I get to read on that hormone therapy.

The times I had been sick lately I think I can attribute that to stress and fatigue. When you have two boys to deal with, moms can get to that point in terms of her health concerns. Proper nutrition and exercise is something I am trying to put more into my life now. I want to live longer for my little boy. He needs someone to help him through and I hope dad will be able to see that like I do. Any mom or dad and family actually needs to have proper nutrition and exercise. Make it a habit and a good family bonding activity like playing soccer for us.

I hope hubby and I could put in our priority in terms of budget of having our ring adjusted. Our fingers had outgrown our wedding bands seriously though we could still wear it on. Or it has been like a reminder every time we see rings online just as I was browsing this Reeds diamond ring that is really beautiful for an anniversary band. He would often say there is still no budget but if there is a will there is a way. It would be a sweet thing to do if we get to wear our rings again rather than being kept in a safe place where it won’t be lost.

I have given him a hint when I saw a jewelry shop that we passed by that do adjustments even repairs of rings. He still have not mentioned nor decided on it again. Maybe I would just have to find a way for it myself. He will be surprised it one day I’ll show it to him already adjusted.

What a relief it is to hear today from the doctor (or at least my son’s pedia) that my lungs are clear after taking all the meds and antibiotic previously prescribed by my doctor who happens to be his wife. I know I feel better now after taking the Z antiB meds after a bout of cough that my son and I had almost at the same time. I could somehow sleep better now after a rather restless night last night. An episode of shortness of breath last night forced me to retire even if I wanted to do more work.

At least now less concern over my health and I could just pray that the little boy’s allergies or what it seems that exhibits through this rather cough that still persist even if he is through with his antibiotics. Praying for his full and complete recovery. I really pray this is no asthma that he has. I know God is always good and he will grant my fervent prayer.

I woke up with an achy left side where I slept on. I hope it is just because of that little toy of the little boy that I found in the bed near me. It was gone soon enough and hubby told me it is not what I initially thought it was otherwise it should persist.

Today is doctor’s appointment day after I was put on hold yesterday because the slots were full already for yesterday and the doctor had a meeting at three in the afternoon. I hope the doctor’s findings will be okay and nothing serious.

We have a busy weekend and I want to shoot the festivities with hubby this weekend if health allows me too. Praying this achy feeling will go away now and not come back anymore, okay? *wink*

Time for loud reading again. While waiting for the pizza delivery this late at night, the boys are doing loud reading. The school owner during our first school-parent partnership meeting was encouraging the fathers to do the loud reading as a form of bonding at the same time with their kids. it is common and assumed that the moms usually do this at home. Given some dads also take this opportunity for bonding activity for granted, it might as well be mentioned that dads can in fact take turns with the mom in doing loud reading with their children.

Do this activity with your children and you might not know how much they appreciate what you do for them as you take extra time to read with them even after a tiring day from work.
