I really wonder why some people park their cars and vehicles in their neighbors’ front space when they still have a big space right in front of their own house and lot. Anyway, we don’t really have an issue with people in the neighborhood parking in the front space of our apartment building but the question is why don’t they park it right in front of their house. The thing is the owner has already requested and told them about this and yet they still continue to do so.

Again, my concern is not about the parking space. It is the smoke they belch out of their vehicles whenever they park and go again. It may mean nothing to them but for us with an aircon right outside near where they park every single day and the smoke little by little seeping through our little boy’s bedroom through the aircon is something we are concerned of.

We don’t want to have any issues with neighbors as we want to have a peaceful and harmonious relationship with them all, though we rarely get to mingle with them. But if they are contributing to air pollution that affects our home and our health then I feel we have the right to inform them and they should have the heart and the conscience to help us resolve our concern.

“Don’t do to your neighbors what you don’t want them to do unto you.” I can only pray their hearts and conscience, if they have those, would be touched and as kind neighbors heed our request. To world peace!!!

The lil boy’s school has some mother and child activities set up for the coming foundation day anniversary of their school next month. One of the must to do activities is scrapbooking. I have three weeks to do that with the little boy. Whether it be easy or hard, I don’t know since I have never done it before even in digiscrapping. But one think for sure, it must be a fun activity between the little boy and me that should be done in a loving manner as noted by the school in the letter they sent out.

I have to start going through the pictures that we should include in the scrapbook, have them printed soon or by next week and start with the scrapbook. I wish procrastination won’t set in and we would hopefully finish this before the month ends.

It means we have so much work to do and we are so grateful to the Lord for the blessings of work opportunities that are given to us. I am happy to be busy and I am trying to squeeze in quality family bonidng time for hubby and the little boy despite being busy so as not to deprive them of time despite being really busy. Thank you lord for the work opportunities and for generous friends!

Thinking about securing the future of my son sometimes I have my reservations in getting him a educational fund or pension fund so I am just working hard to save up something for him. While stocks and investing in a cooperative has been my alternative options open for now, I was thinking if it would be a better investment if I decide to take a plunge and invest in those gold coins and bullion perhaps. I was told time and again that it is a good investment that could really secure your child’s financial security in the future. It really is a better investment when you compare it with other monetary investments that get easily affected with the ups and downs that the world economy is going through. If you are interested, check out the United States Gold Bureau which I have found for quite sometime now. They had me thinking about the possibility of this kind investment which surely is a better choice.

There are times that when you are in a hurry and catching up with work when the internet decides to crawl and it can be kind of frustrating for me. I don’t like it when it acts up and starts crawling especially when you are beting deadline and trying not to waste those opportunities that come my way. Come to think of it, could it be my laptop which I can call old by now? I hope this is just for now for I still don’t have a budget to buy a new one. Unless of course hubby would get me a new one! Or it could just be the internet connection crawling and I don’t want to call their support anymore.

While the little boy usually expects and demands to take his bath by this time, now he somehow did not notice that as he was allowed by his dad to play in his computer. Uh oh! Dad the school won’t be happy though this games are not violent still we should not let him play to much. We let him play once in awhile but not too much. It’s being regulated so don’t worry but still I wish he won’t be that techie to know where to find the games in the internet.

I am happy for other people having this long weekend. But it is kind of busy for me though as I try beating deadlines here and there. I feel so blessed though despite being busy and it is indeed a blessing to be busy with work at home even if I feel I am running after something. No complains to speak of as I was able to squeeze in some bonding time with the boys yesterday with a lunch out at a new resto and then breakfast at McDo this morning to treat the little boy out. Now off to beat those deadlines once again. Let’s go!

I was over at Facebook looking over photos posted by some friends whom we have come to know through photography. I enjoyed looking into their behind the scene photos during their shoot covering the Indak-Indak sa Kadalanan during the Kadayawan Festival over the weekend. We might have missed the fun and the heat shooting at the streets this year since we opted to stay home and just watch it on TV as we are still getting well and don’t want to get more sick anymore plus hubby has work during the weekend that got in the way too. But I really had fun just looking at the pics and the fun they had shooting. Even that “face-off” between two photographers using Canon vs Nikon!

Since we will miss shooting at the Kadayawan Festival’s Indak Indak sa Kadalanan this year, hubby and I decided to have breakfast bonding time with the little boy at our fave Filipino buffet resto where we used to eat before frequently. The past few months though we decided to stop going there since I wanted to control my diet plus our expenses too! But I say eating there can be more filling and so much choices compared to when we have breakfast before at McDonalds which could cost more actually with just the meal of choice ~ chicken or whatever.

The little boy was happy and we were surprised he was really hungry. He ate four servings of pancake! Plus he drank both of our breakfast juice as they call it by himself mostly. He did not like their fresh mango juice this time. The mango fruit they used was not that ripe yet and so it tasted sour. Had we known we would just have ordered the breakfast juice for him as well and that would have saved us half the price of the mango juice. LOL!

The little boy was game when we took pictures of him as he was eating his pancake. I might not be able to upload the pix just yet. As of this writing I am sleepy and catching up to finish pending tasks since hubby and I had our own Kadayawan bonding date last night from Alladin Bajada to Central Bank for the Mindanao Trade Expo 2010 to NCCC to Gardena Fresca for dinner (our first time in that place) to Brothers Burger in Damosa where we were able to see and hear the concert from the back with a view of the backstage. Thanks to the big screen, we were able to see glimpses of the artists and celebrities who performed last night.
