::: Finished some work and spent time with the boys.

::: Mel Gibson I guess because I think he will find a way to survive somehow if that is the case of the parachutes are for.

Where are you going and where have you been?

::: The boys and I just got home from church a couple of hours earlier and we’re staying here at home.

They say that books read as a child make more of an impact on a person than books read at any other time in life. Are there any books that you particularly loved, that shaped the way you think when you were little?

:::  As far as I can remember I read mystery and detective stories of the Bobbsey Twins, Nancy Drew and Hardy Boys when I was in early grade school about second grade. Aside from the set of Encyclopedia we have at home.

What do you look forward to most in the next six weeks?

::: Christmas holiday season – Christmas day and New Year’s Day. Not to forget hubby’s birthday!

::: A promo text message from the mobile service provider.

::: When it’s urgent – call. But when I have limited load then it’s definitely – text.

What were you doing at 9PM last night?

::: Checking emails, working and blogging!

What is the longest line you’ve ever stood in? Would you do it again? ::: The one I can remember now is about two hours in a taxi lane at SM Megamall. When your feet is tired after a long day, that is the last thing you need.

Someone has hung a sign around your neck, and you have to wear it all day long. What does it say? ::: God is good!

As the Christmas season approaches, what song is it that you just can’t wait to hear? ::: There are many fave Christmas songs to name.

What Christmas song do you dread to hear? ::: I don’t think I have one.

How often do you read the last chapter of a book first? ::: Never done that as far as I can remember.

Do you have a favorite movie that you just love to see each year during the holidays? ::: You Got Mail, Santa Clause, among other movies.

Do you enjoy winter in the area that you live? ::: We don’t experience winter here though I’d like to try it for a day.

At holiday I think we all show more kindness. In your opinion, is this a “concept” that has value (like money or other tangible things) or does it exist as simply emotion? Why? ::: There is just some kind of emotion of being happy when you become kind to people even strangers that you just meet. It feels nice to give back and share when we receive blessings from above.

Have you ever been on the wrong side of the law? ::: Nope and hopefully never.

What was the last thing you described as either “surprisingly good” or “surprisingly bad?” ::: Wasabi popcorn was surprisingly good!

When was the last time you unintentionally surprised someone else? ::: When I paid for some of the expenses here at home to hubby’s surprise. He didn’t expect I have more saved than him at that time. So that’s why no one can tell me I am lazy at home because I make use of my time productively too.

When was the last time you deliberately surprised someone else? ::: I surprised my mom the other day when I sent her some money and she was glad I sent her that she also sent me home cooked food for us through my daddy.

What was the last really funny movie you watched? ::: I cannot remember for now.

What is something that you’ve never done that you secretly are dying to do? ::: Swim in a two piece! Shhhhhh! LOL!

What do you hope is different in your life by August 2012? ::: I am more healthy and fit, stronger and happier!

Who is the last person you greeted at your door? ::: My darling little boy when I got back this morning from buying rice outside.

If you could live in any ancient city during the height of the quality of its society and culture, which one would you choose? ::: Hmmmm…. let me think about that first! *wink*

What is something someone has done that you’d like the world to know about? ::: My son has made me realize that there is a lot of beautiful and lovely things in this world that we may tend to take for granted before. That there are a lot of things that are truly worth living for and he makes me work harder for his present and future needs. I love my son so much! He makes me and my dear hubby so happy, he makes us laugh, smile so many times in a day and he continues to amaze us with the things that he learns each day.

Where is your favorite place to sit when at home? ::: I usually sit in my computer chair in front of my laptop. I don’t get so much time each day to sit on our comfy couches to be lazy or watch TV. It’s a busy life at home!

How did you come up with the title of your blog? ::: This was where I was supposed to blog all things that bring delight to my heart.

Tell us something about people that you absolutely hate. ::: Ungrateful people who follow you mostly wherever you go when you want them to just stay as far away from you yet they keep following you. Seemingly like stalkers who gives us a creepy feeling. But we just try to ignore that kind of person.

Tell us about the one who got away. ::: Who got away with what? Well maybe let me just say there is a son I know who got away with his mistakes because his old parents refuse to correct him because they say he is old already. Hey there is no expiry of parent’s responsibilities on their son who makes mistakes of physically hurting their wife and son. Why do parents tolerate that kind of attitude, well I cannot understand and unforgivable.

Have you ever had a big birthday party? ::: As in a grand party? No and I plan to celebrate it with my family with my birthday coming up.

What was the biggest bash you’ve ever attended? ::: Weddings!

With my kids and an always changing life, I find myself sometimes unable to focus! Do you have that problem, too? :::  Sometimes if not most of the times especially when I have pending to do and then I am too tired having no help at home.

What are 5 things you don’t care about? ::: anime, war games on PC, dirty politics since it’s beyond our power and control, among other things…

What ‘issue’ do you think your opinion is so right about that you end up trying to sway others to your point of view? ::: things that mature people in a serious relationship should be responsible of…

What personality do you like to listen to on the radio? ::: I have not listened to the radio for a long time since we don’t have one here at home.

What culture are you fascinated by? ::: Chinese and Japanese.

You are alone with your lover’s diary. What do you do? ::: I will let him read mine.

What frustrates you? ::: having to deal with hardheaded, immature people.

What was the biggest fight you have ever had with someone? ::: It’s a personal matter and I don’t want to remember it anymore.

As a kid, were you ever wrongly accused (and punished, if it went that far) for something you didn’t do? If so, what was it? What happened? ::: No I was a good kid.

What about as an adult, were you ever wrongly accused for something you didn’t do?? Do you think it’s worse to be accused as a child or an adult? Why/why not? ::: As an adult… because you can have a case against you.

What’s the scariest weather situation you’ve experienced? ::: I think there was one time when there were a few big lightning striking near our parents neighborhood one evening so many years ago. It was really scary plus the very loud thunder really added to the fright then. What if it hits our house? Luckily, there were no reported major damage that time except that the power went out for a few hours.

If you could wake up tomorrow morning in another country, where would you want to be and why? ::: In the United Kingdom in my sister’s place exactly so I can visit her and my nephew. We missed them so much!

Instead of going to work Monday, if you could spend the entire day doing something else–any one or two things that you absolutely love doing–what would you do? ::: Rest, sleep, eat and quality bonding time with my boys!

Which fashion trend do you believe is the most horrendous and why? ::: I am not much into fashion. As for now I cannot classify anything horrendous but I don’t like those worn by those gangster looking peeps.

Is there something that you have to give all or nothing to? ::: Family life I think.

Have you ever gambled? What have you bet on and for how much? ::: It was just for fun that a company guest from abroad brought us along with my officemates and he treated by giving us with free chips to play the slotmachine. It was free and we did not pay for any bet or whatever. I remember though one of my officemates won the jackpot at the SM. It was a blessing as we call it because at that time she really needed money for something important and what she won was more than what she actually needed. It was fun to play but that never happened again for me at least.

Can you sleep anywhere or does it have to be in a bed? ::: As long as I am comfortable and probably if I am dead tired and really, really sleepy then I guess I can sleep anywhere where I can lie down.

Tell us about the most disastrous or embarrassing first impression you’ve ever made on someone. ::: I don’t think I have ever been in that situation as far as I can remember now.

Do you have a memorable “ripped clothing” moment in your life? No? How about in someone else’s? ::: If this means clothing that has been literally ripped, it happened during a wedding we attended before and one of the girls who are part of the wedding entourage unfortunately had part of her gown ripped during the wedding. She had to change after the ceremony at the church. Good thing not a lot of people saw what happened.

What’s changed on your blog since its inception? …a redo? …a change of pace? …or is it about the same? ::: Maybe a change of pace every now and then depending on how much time I have in my hands to be able to update the many “homes” I have now in the blogosphere.

If you could travel back in time and whisper something to yourself ten years ago, what would it be? ::: Start investing in a stable cooperative now and don’t ever touch that money.

Okay, let’s have it! What’s the craziest, most impulsive thing you’ve ever done? ::: Craziest? Okay let me think about that first!

What’s the story behind one of your scars? ::: I have a small scar in the face from having chicken pox many years ago.

What are three things that you would rather be doing right now? ::: Sleeping, resting, having a relaxing massage!

What do you do when you’re bored? ::: Play games, listen to music, tweet, take photos…

What’s your favorite thing to do? Why? ::: Eat… there are a lot of food that are delicious and i simply love to eat.

What do you do when you’re lonely? ::: Talk to a friend, hug the little boy who hugs and kisses me back with a resounding “I Love you Ma!”

How do you measure the passing of time in life? ::: By the lessons we have learned in life.

What would constitute “the perfectly lived day” for you? ::: Bonding time with the little boy, hearing mass, my boys spending time with me and my family, dinner at our favorite resto, eating my fave food!

If you knew you were going to die in a year, what would you do in your final days? ::: Spend as much quality time with my son, spend it with my family and friends. Make sure I have settled everything for the little boy’s future.

::: Have you ever been part of the wedding party, other than your own? ::: Yes a few times! Weddings are fun occasions to attend and be a part of.

::: Let’s say you find yourself in Hell after you die. Think about everyone you’ve known in your life. Who would be the one person that would least likely to surprise you by being in Hell with you? ::: I think criminals and people who do bad things knowingly. I don’t think am that bad to be in hell.

::: What’s the hottest you’ve ever been in your life? ::: We went with my former office mates to this hot spring in a province somewhere north in a place called Mainit which means hot. First time I’ve tried sauna inside a cave.

::: If you had to choose a theme song for your blog, which would would you choose and why? ::: I have a lot of blogs but if I were to choose one for this one, I think I will have to think about it first. I’ve never thought about it before.

::: Tell us about a local restaurant you are sure we’d love. ::: There are some restos around town that you would love if you are into Chinese or seafood dishes like crabs! I am not really into crabs though since I love shrimps more and I would recommend the spicy shrimps dish in a local Chinese seafood resto that is one of our fave place to eat when we feel like going on a food trip.

::: Tell us about the shyest person that you deal with regularly. ::: Hubby is “shy” to talk to people even to me that here in the house I often end up talking to myself since he is too shy to talk or even listen to what I have to say. Does that sound crazy? It is close to making me crazy sometimes if you’d like to know.

::: What is your vision of heaven and hell? ::: Heaven is being happy with my boys especially with the lil boy who makes me truly happy. Hell is when I am sick and hubby doesn’t not give a damn.

::: What is your neighborhood like? ::: It’s quiet and the neighbors don’t usually mingle a lot together. Or maybe it is just us since we usually just stay home. Unlike the neighborhood where I grew up in my parent’s place, the neighbors usually know each other better than here. Maybe we should mingle a lot more.

::: What’s your favorite cook-out food? ::: grilled food, barbeque…

::: When was the last time that you saw fireworks? ::: Our city has a total fireworks ban for many years now so I think the last time I saw fireworks other than in TV was about two years ago and that was in a different city far from here.
