Improving Their Facilities

During the last visit to the hospital in the city showed me that they are improving their facilities as well as their medical tower which is now almost finished with the extension and renovation. There are new medical equipments in the hospital like those that I have been browsing through such as those medical computer carts at Howard-Medical.com. I have seen some of those installed and being used at the admitting and emergency.

Improving their facilities is a good way too since this will benefit the patients of the hospital in terms of upgraded medical system and equipments using more advance medical technology. These improved facilities will also convert to more efficient service and ease the workloads of the nurses, doctors and hospital workers. As they say these medical carts are there to make helping others easier as part of improving their facilities.

Electronics

Hubby took a course that had to do with electronics so when someone started talking about electronics and about this Lead Free Solder I had to make him explain to me more so I can understand it better hopefully. So when I came across that lead free stuff concerning electronics, I passed it on to him. I know he knows more about that and if my dad is here, they would be able to understand this things am reading about right now about the Fine Line Stencil which is a technology leading manufacturer that is committed to delivering the highest quality laser stencils in the industry.

Delivery on Time

I am always delighted when the fast food makes a food delivery on time. But there are times that the delivery boy do get lost making me wish they have something like the zumo 665 motorcycle GPS where we can track them where they are to improve the efficiency and time of delivery.

Tonight the little boy was asking for french fries and pizza from his dad. Rather than opting for delivery though, hubby and I decided to go for picking up the pizza on his way home. It was like delivery on time. Those delivery guys who got lost before trying to deliver food to our place should get a GPS. It should really help them find their way on time for fast delivery.

Galaxy Tab

People love gadgets and I know a lot of people do. Having the Samsung Galaxy Tablet PC was a choice we made over the other more popular tablet which is lot bigger than the Galaxy Tab or what I call GTab. The Galaxy Tab comes in handy when I take photos that I can instantly upload to facebook or Twitter and share with friends the latest and real time happenings in the new mall in town or with the events in celebration with the Kadayawan Festival in the city.

It is a cellphone, pc tablet and camera at the same time. It is smaller at 7 inches which we can easily place in our camera bag as well. We can surf the internet in the cafe or in the mall or wherever there is wifi available since we don’t usually use the 3G feature which it also has. The price is now more affordable too. They have recently released the latest version in 10.1 inch of the Galaxy Tab. I wish I can that too but just have to wait longer as there are other priorities.

Some Me Time

After hearing the first Friday mass by myself since the lil boy is at school and hubby’s is on OT work whole day, I went to the mall for some me time. I had lunch at McDo where I bought the Happy Meal so the lil boy can have a new toy which he was very happy to have when he saw it after school.

Then I went around the mall looking into some Samsung cell phone accessories aside from checking out the new Samsung Galaxy Tab if it is already available. I visited the Samsung store and took a quick tour looking at their cellphones. I saw only on display the Samsung Galaxy Tab P1000 like the one we have but at a much cheaper price. It would be nice to upgrade to the new Galaxy Tab but just waiting for the budget. Until then we are just grateful we have the P1000.

To end my me time before fetching the lil boy at school, I went for some window shopping for clothes. I wanted to buy a dress that I saw one time. It’s a simple casual dress which can be for everyday use. I just was not able to find the design that I was looking for.

Busy at Work

I wanted to invite one of my older sisters to have dinner with us tonight but she was busy at work trying to finish up some reports and at the same time working on her with some other staff in the office on their project concerning and involving a document management software. It would help them in the process of eliminating paper stuff in the office and maybe one day go for a paperless office.

Anyway, since she was busy at work, the boys and I still went for dinner at the place where I wanted to bring my sis. But we did not avail of the free chicken salad or something just yet because I and the boys won’t eat it anyway. Maybe next time when, my sister is there with us for she loves salads. Hope next time we invite her she would no longer be busy at work to decline our invite.

Pink Mac

If there is one thing that makes my heart jump right now is seeing this pink Macbook. Of course Apple is not selling pink Macs but I heard that there is one company that can custom paint your Mac to pink or any color you want. Likey! Can I let them paint my Acer lappy pink too! It’ll feel new and I just buy a new battery instead.

Lappy Hunting

My laptop or lappy is still working unless you unplug it, it will turn off in about two minutes. So there are two choices for me now. One is to buy a new laptop battery, or buy a new laptop with higher specs but not necessarily expensive. If we can find the cheapest with better or higher specs than my present lappy then the better that will be.

And the hunt for a new lappy continues from those new and with higher specs acer aspire laptops that we saw a few weeks ago to some other brands that we have not tried buying before. We passed by earlier at the local Acer store that just had their grand opening. We looked around and found one laptop that will be among our choice if ever we have the budget to buy already. We need to work harder to earn more. I hope we will be blessed to save more for a better laptop soon.

Never Lost Again

The little boy just finished watching the animated Disney-Pixar movie Cars for the thousandth time I guess. One popular line there if I could quote it correctly goes “I don’t need a map, I have a GPS.” With a GPS they often say you will never be lost again. It is said to be your cost-effective way to make sure that you will never get lost again.

Well while my little boy was watching the movie, I was chatting with two of my old my friends who wished the other one’s car has one. She said that while she went to find our other friend’s house for the very first time, she got lost. She could have that magellan gps and never get lost again. I wonder if anyone with a gps has ever gotten lost. I see people I know in the US benefitting from the use of this system especially when they go on travel and on long road trips.

Missed Playing

I suddenly missed playing this game on the iPod Touch. Hubby has been using the iTouch since and I have long removed this game there to stop the game addiction that I had during those times. You know the type that you are supposed to lay down in bed to sleep late at night and you still keep on playing this! I had to do something then so I removed the game app and that was the end of it.

Hubby is fond of putting games on this even in the Galaxy Tab that I somehow wish he would not do so often since the little boy gets to see the games too. But at least now the little boy is no longer playing games that much. But then as for me I somehow missed playing games for leisure. I am simply too busy the past few months working and making a living.

As they say we can play at times that all work and no play can make you dull and gray!?! LOL!
