Weekend Snapshot | Rai Rai Ken’s Donburi Katsudon

Sharing one of my Weekend Snapshot: Donburi rice toppings – Katsudon (breaded pork with egg and onion topped on steamed Japanese rice) at Rai Rai Ken Ramen House and Sushi Bar at the newly opened Robinsons Cybergate Davao.

It tasted good though I would have wished it has more taste to it though or was it just my taste buds last night. This dinner was the second dinner treat by my dear hubby for our Mother’s day celebration. He already treated me to an advance MD dinner also at Robinsons Cybergate Davao the night before and we at at Bangkok Wok serving Thai cuisine in Davao City and it was a great dinner!

Weekend Snapshot | Paradise Island Beach Resort

My Weekend Snapshot is taken at the Paradise Island Beach Resort in the Island Garden City of Samal across Davao City. We spent there our first time at the beach with our two year old son who totally avoided taking a dip at the water. But he still had fun looking at me and hubby taking turns taking a dip in the water since one of us had to stay with him and watch him. Before we went home shortly after lunch time, we took a shot of him for a souvenir for his first time there and first time in the beach and it happened on my birthday. Hoping for a fun, fun summer!

This was photo of our CT with the Christmas tree in Davao Doctor’s Hospital in Davao City. We were there to have CT for a check-up. He was game for picture taking even if he was not feeling that well. Ring in the Hand

This is the ring in the hand of my SIL who got married three Saturdays ago. This was taken Sunday morning after their wedding while we were at the hotel lobby waiting to go to the groom’s house for breakfast they prepared for us.

WS: CT’s New Style of Eating Bread

While we were eating, my CT who was sitting in his high chair eating a slice of Goldilocks’ sandwich bread suddenly bowed down and took a bite of the bread using his mouth instead of using his hands to pick up the bread. We were laughing and were asking him who taught him that. Instead of answering he just started to laugh as well. Oh my kids does surprise us! I do not know who he may have seen eating that way coz we don’t do that. Maybe he just mimicked the dogs in the back as to how they eat. I really have no idea!

WS: CT’s Afraid of the Birthday Party Clown

We just came from Jiselle’s first birthday party in my kumare Jacq’s parent’s home. Jiselle is my goddaughter. There was an orange birthday party clown which upon seeing him, Ct started to cry and was afraid of the said clown. I have somehow anticipated that when I saw the clown when we arrived. Even before when we were choosing the clown for CT’s first birthday party, we were told that children mostly do not like these kind of clowns (those with that kind of hair and costume) that is why we choose characters that children love and are more familiar with like the Winnie the Pooh characters. It took sometime before we were able to calm CT. He even do not want his dad and me to go near the clown. But he still managed to take the hand of the clown when we told him to bless. When we sat down, CT became cheerful and was cheering for the kids who joined the games. Hope you had a fun weekend! Happy WS!

Istayl Nato at Coral Dive Resort, Catarman, Camiguin Province

It has been awhile since I watched this interesting and information local show Istayl Nato being shown at the local GMA 7 TV station on Sunday morning around 10:45AM. Yesterday we were able to watch it after quite sometime of missing the past weeks’ episodes. They featured the Coral Dive Resort in Catarman, Camiguin Province. Watching that segment made me want to have a vacation there with hubby and CT.

I took a shot direct on the TV screen (sorry for the noisy pic – its the effect of the TV screen) so I won’t forget the name of that resort and who knows we may have a vacation there in the future. Happy WS everyone and enjoy the week ahead!
