Another photo taken yesterday when we were at Felis Resort in Davao City. This was taken by my hubby before the sunset photo shoot with other Fanatic Photographers Society members. It was fun and we both enjoyed it though not much of the sunset since Mr. Sun hid in the clouds not long after. But we did get some good shots. Hubby taught me some tricks and somehow we experimented with our Nikon D60 DSLR. Hope we can enrol in the basic photography lessons of Rhonson Ng on Friday or at least hubby coz he is more knowledgeable than me. I would just let him teach me what he learned if he does enrol.
My other WS entires are HERE and HERE!!!

We were at SM Mall Davao last night and when we passed by this ice cream stall, I told hubby that we buy this Allegro Durian ice cream that we have tried before. The creamy cone costs P16 while the cup costs P12.50. I opted for the cone instead of the cup. I dunno why H bought us ice cream when in fact we both have colds.

We let CT taste the durian ice cream and his face initially reacted to the coldness but after 5 seconds he smiled and swayed from side to side which means that he liked the taste. We let him have three very tiny serving just at the tip of the scoop to at least stop him from trying to grab our ice cream.

It’s another weekend, coffee and tea anyone? This weekend we tried out Maxwell House 3in1 Rich Coffee and Susan Baker Pure Ceylon Tea. We have not tried this at home. It has been awhile too since I had drank coffee at home. As with the tea, I was trying to remember if this was the one we had in the office which I somehow liked. Anyway it was a trial for both brands. The coffee was not really what I expected. Maybe I just got used to flavored coffee. We have not tried the tea yet but maybe later today I will try it. Hope everyone had a great weekend!

Yesterday, hubby and I chanced upon a TV show called ISLA on cable TV and If you have been to my main blog Blessings in Life, I have posted this photo as an entry for WW. Anyway, I saw this on TV and they featured the artist and painter behind this beautiful and colorful bridge in Singapore which is an idea and was painted by a Filipina artist named Pacita Abad. She is a Filipina whose hometown was in Basco, Batanes. She was a graduate of the University of the Philippines. She was a cancer patient who was confined in a wheel chair. With the help of a creative team, she painted this Alkaff Bridge as her gift to Singapore. She passionately believe in public art and hope that this project inspired many more like it and brings art into the every day lives of Singaporeans. It is a great work of art and entails painstaking details just to finish this. Her story was really inspiring. At one point, because of her condition, she can hardly write her signature in her artworks but she continued to paint colorful and beautiful art works which is really her trademark.
Hope you had a colorful weekend! Thanks for coming over!

When hubby and I went to the mall we chanced upon this one man art exhibit at SM City. The painter’s work is really interesting and beautiful. We met a Tiara, a fellow blogger there looking at this great work of art. It is a call for people to take care of nature for a better future. This one is a collection of the Davao City Government.

It is Easter Sunday and CT got to attend the 4th birthday party of Earl, son of my hubby’s officemate. It was held at Jollibee which is my first time to attend a birthday party there at that particular branch, which is just across my former office building. I was not supposed to be in this photo as I am too shy hehehe but the poster was too high so I had to carry CT for his souvenir photo. I have to admit the place was clean and cozy not to mention still quite new. The theme of this children’s party was Justice League, which makes me think what would be the theme for CT’s 2nd birthday next year.
Happy Easter everyone and have a great week ahead!!!

Weekend Snapshot
Nothing much for this weekend except for the Manny Pacquiao fight against Juan Manuel Marquez HERE. Well we were going home, we noticed this road sign while the taxi was at a red light. The leftmost sign means that the those vehicles on the leftmost lane in the road should go turn right only. Well there are still hard headed drivers there on the road with us then who stayed on the left most lane but are heading to a left turn at the crossing going south. Well the country will not totally prosper if there are drivers on the road like them. Traffic problems will never be totally solved as long as drivers are not all totally disciplined to follow the traffic rules and road signs. At least it was a weekend and it won’t be a problem if there is traffic as we were not really in a rush to go home. Well I wish everyone a great weekend and a blessed Holy Week ahead! Happy WS!

My Weekend Snapshot for this week is photo from where we had dinner last night at Ranchero’s Grill (formerly Fiesta Dabaw located at Tionko Avenue, Davao City near Central Bank) for our monthsary.
Another snapshot is of NCCC Mall Cinemas where we watched the last full show of My Big Love of Star Cinema. Well just wanna watch a feel good romantic Filipino movie. Mind you some find it corny but it is the first time in quite a long, long time that I have to wait in line before we can enter the cinema till the current showing is finished because the cinema is full. They would not allow SRO I think that is why they control the number of people inside. It was a fun movie as I have never laughed so hard at one of the scenes in a movie for quite sometime. hehehe You should try to watch it!

This is my first Weekend Snapshot for this blog of mine here. This snapshot was taken during the Davao Travel Show still and I stopped for awhile on this booth thinking what if we try going to Macau. Well it would be a different experience though I am thinking if it would be worth it. I wish everyone had a great weekend and happy WS everybody!
