Tired

I am tired and very sleepy as of this writing. CT is still awake, active and still playing with his blocks in his crib. Spent this morning washing our clothes as I let hubby catch on his sleep since he still came from work overnight. When he woke up around lunch he helped me finish the laundry. I was expecting we might be able to go out this afternoon and follow-up things at PLDT for the subsequent disconnection of the internet service here at home by next month when we move and applying for a internet connection at the apartment we will be moving in hopefully. But sis is going out so we have to postpone our errands for today. We still have to finalize things and sign the lease contract. The rent is rather big for us and we really have to learn to save on some of our usual expenses. But if our earnings will go up and stabilize then I would not worry or think about it that much.

Abandoned Kids

Maria Fe abandoned her five kids to go to the internet house on a holiday early morning and left them at home without giving them breakfast only to come back four hours later to ask them if they have eaten breakfast! I forgot the government office where she worked has no office today. She is now here and grumbling again. Sometimes we think it is better she is not here at home coz it is useless, there is more stress with the kids crying and she ranting that things are not on proper order when she has not done her responsibilities as a mother to her five children. Their father has abandoned them three years ago. It has made life here more stressful. My parents are stressed. Yesterday she was here reading the magazine and sleeping last Saturday while her only daughter was washing their clothes outside. She more thatn anyone should know about child labor being an employee of the Labor Department. Well I just hope the eldest sister who should be the one to be depended on and be an example to her younger siblings should learn to be an example mother and helping sister to her younger siblings. Well it is a sacrifice for the family t help her five kids survive. I wish she would forget about the arrogance and being irresponsible and help us take care of her children without giving us stress in the house. She should be our guide and help not someone who will burden us.

A Call Left Unheeded

This is a part of a blog entry in a Multiply account of someone I know and just posting here to share to those who may have felt the same way and experiencing the same sad predicament too.

Have a great day. Remember life goes on… smile as if your heart is not aching and crushed. Live for the other innocent people that can make you smile and happy each day! If they won’t help you then they are not worth it at all. Live and let live! Hang on for God is always there for you.

Did you ever feel that someone you really count on to be your comfort is the one making you feel unheeded, not listening to you cry nor comfort you even when they had done something to disappoint you? Why can people you count on the most be the one who does not take sincere and immediate actions to your call for help? Broken promises abound and calls for help left unheeded. If your friend is in need, won’t you as a person or indeed as a friend make your way to help them out? It can make someone so sad that you may ask yourself, can you still count on that person who is supposed to be your best friend in life? Why can’t they feel how you feel so that they will know how affected you are? Maybe it runs in their blood that certain thing called indifference that can shatter other people’s hope. What is more sad is that this person is supposed to be the one to lift you out of misery yet it becomes the opposite. So frustrating can life be at times. Yet you cannot make hem feel your misery because they won’t even care at all…

Colorful Books for CT

We bought our baby CT these colorful books we saw at Gaisano Mall along with this colorful toy that we also bought for him. At first he just ignored when I gave him the “fruits” book but when I showed him and called out the names of the fruits in the pages, he got interested. But then in a matter of about 10 minutes he disassembled the fruit book and the cover ended up rolled and he made it into a trumpet or megaphone alternatively. But I saw he enjoyed he had that book. I was not able to take a photo that time coz I got lazy getting the cam from the box.

Disposal

What did you last replace batteries for?

>> We just bought new batteries for our old Canon P&S AS710IS so that we can still use it for the upcoming Kadayawan Festival that will start on Sunday, August 17 until 24.

What have you thrown away that you probably could have had repaired?

>> Not yet thrown away but then dumped in the drawer is my hubby’s cellphone.

Among items in your line of sight right now, what should probably be put in the trash?

>> Recycled scratch papers waiting to be disposed of.

When did you last use disposable cutlery while dining in your house?

>> I think a few days ago when CT ate mashed potatoes from KFC. We used the white spoon given by KFC.

Whose actions cause you to waste time you otherwise wouldn’t waste?

>> My nephews taking a bath just when we tell them that we will use the bathroom to give CT a bath in the morning. Sometimes we have to wait for them to finish otherwise they won’t take a bath anymore that day.

Daily Updates {8.14.08}

Mom said Francis Magalona has leukemia. I saw that on TV when I took a quick check upstairs while dressing up after a quick shower earlier this evening while Ct was still asleep.
Finally was able to wash clothes this morning which we usually schedule on Tuesdays. It has been raining earlier this week that is why it was postponed today. I was supposed to wash yesterday but then I was not feeling well with a headache though tolerable but won’t seem to go away even after a night’s sleep.
I really got tired washing the clothes which I finished past lunch time. I was really tired so I decided to totally skip lunch and sleep instead. I am still waiting for H to give me a day off.
My nephew Louis drained the soap while the washing machine was still spinning. I discovered it coz when I got out to check, I was surprised that the clothes could hardly spin around because the water level was down. My mom said he saw Louis and Simon playing with the drain dial of the washing machine. Grrrr! Hay kids ah!
CT woke up at 7:30 in the evening from a lat afternoon nap. I hope he would sleep not later than 10PM.
H was supposed to go to work at 6PM but was wanting to have a VL. He said he won’t report for work then suddenly changed his mind and reported for work late. H had been working for 12 hour shift for several consecutive days already. His other officemate is in Cotabato City to fix things for their new branch there that would open tomorrow.
H sent all his remaining cellphone load to me and when I tried to miscall him his phone was off. Hmmmp. So I did not send him back some load as he might not receive it like last time.
