Earlier tonight while we were waiting for a ride home, we saw a guy that is really heavy as what the drivers there called him. They even said that they would not give that guy a ride home. They guessed that the guy was round his eighteen. But poor guy. I know it is not easy to have that kind of treatment and nobody deserves to be made fun of. It made me think again that I should never overdo my eating and control it if I do not want to have that kind of attention and jokes on me. I have long been wanting to go back to badminton and an active lifestyle but being domesticated and being a stay at home mom makes our lifestyle less active. Sometimes we tend to eat more finishing off the food that our kids left from eating their meals.
Going back to the guy, I was wondering if he or his parents ever considered letting him take weight loss pills as there are many available now in the market as long as they consult the right professional doctor who could advise them on this matter.
Some of my friends have gotten heavy too since they got married. Even some friends who are not yet married yet so engrossed with their office work and have no active life outside work have also gained weight over the years. I guess these days people tend to gain more as there are more food made available in the market that can be fattening such as those called instant food or so called fast food. There are more and more fast food chains and restaurants sprouting everywhere making more fattening food available to people at anytime as some are stores are open 24/7. I guess it needs control, discipline and proper diet plus exercise for us to avoid getting “heavy”. So start now and do not wait for it to be too late.
