It is September and Christmas is just around the corner so I am putting this Christmas Countdown timer here for my visitors to see and count away the days till Christmas 2008.
In our country, Christmas season starts as early as September. So it is one of the longest and happiest season for us here. In the malls all over the country you can already see Christmas trees, lights, decors and other stuff being sold already. Some people say it is best to shop early to avoid the Christmas shopping rush and the crowd at the shopping areas around the country. And you can buy cheaper priced items when you buy early. Despite the financial and economic crises, I guess we must celebrate the simplicity and the true meaning of Christmas which is not actually as materialistic as it has become in the many years we have celebrated it. There is more peace when there is less expectation for material things.
My family and I wish to greet all of you and your respective families an advance merry, peaceful and blissful Christmas this year!
