I was wondering what photo entry I will post for the theme this week at Toy Hunt – toys that talk when I stumbled into my son CT’s Vtech Little SMart Pull n’ Learn Phone which was one of the toys given by my sister from UK. We were able to buy two Eneloop AA rechargeable batteries at Funtronics in Gaisano Mall Davao at P145 a piece last week so our CT was able to play with it again. It says “HELLO” when you press the button with a telephone icon, it says the number you are pressing and it says “GOODBYE” when you put down the handset back as there is a button in the middle that is pressed when you put the handest down. It also plays music when you pull the phone along or when it is moved and the wheels turn around.

We were at the mall yesterday afternoon and when we went to our favorite store in there, we saw them already moving some of their stuff out of the store. We have known for quite sometime that Funtronics will be moving to the third floor because the mall has made a zoning of the stall inside the mall. They are moving near CD-R King in the third floor of Gaisano Mall. Anyway, while we were there, I heard one of the customers there asking them if they have a sort of “moving out” sale with their gadgets and PS2. We went out this afternoon to buy plane tickets at Cebu Pacific but did not continue and bought the tickets online through hubby’s mom instead since the service at the Cebu Pacific ticketing office at VP was so slow as we overheard people sitting beside us and behind us complaining that the number is not moving and it is less than an hour before closing time yet there are still 54 clients waiting to be served and the staff are quite rude as I overheard one talking to one of the clients. As proven it was faster to book online but in a matter of a few hours the ticket costs higher because the taxes increased. Huh but we have no choice then so go. Read more… »
