Ring in the Hand

This is the ring in the hand of my SIL who got married three Saturdays ago. This was taken Sunday morning after their wedding while we were at the hotel lobby waiting to go to the groom’s house for breakfast they prepared for us.

We just came from Jiselle’s first birthday party in my kumare Jacq’s parent’s home where she still lives. Jiselle is my goddaughter. There was an orange birthday party clown which upon seeing him, Ct started to cry and was afraid of the said clown. I have somehow anticipated that when I saw the clown when we arrived. Even before when we were choosing the clown for CT’s first birthday party, we were told that children mostly do not like these kind of clowns (those with that kind of hair and costume) that is why we choose characters that children love and are more familiar with like the Winnie the Pooh characters. It took sometime before we were able to calm CT. He even do not want his dad and me to go near the clown. But he still managed to take the hand of the clown when we told him to bless. When we sat down, CT became cheerful and was cheering for the kids who joined the games. Hope you had a fun weekend! Happy WS! Read more… »

WS: Allegro Durian Ice Cream

We were at SM Mall Davao last night and when we passed by this ice cream stall, I told hubby that we buy this Allegro Durian ice cream that we have tried before. The creamy cone costs P16 while the cup costs P12.50. I opted for the cone instead of the cup. I dunno why H bought us ice cream when in fact we both have colds.

Weekend Snapshot: Allegro Durian Ice Cream

We let CT taste the durian ice cream and his face initially reacted to the coldness but after 5 seconds he smiled and swayed from side to side which means that he liked the taste. We let him have three very tiny serving just at the tip of the scoop to at least stop him from trying to grab our ice cream.
